Over the past few days, several new applications have been released to the general public. GamerTCP, Zanphar’s Windows Tweaker, Advanced Windows Disk Cleanup Utility and Registered OwnerEditor. These utilities are rather advanced, for the most part as they provide you with resources not readily available from Microsoft to tweak the system to better suit your needs.
For a short, brief but to the point description of each of these utilities, they are listed as follows:
- Registered OwnerEditor is a utility that allows you to customize the registered owner and organization, business, company, etc., of Windows. By default, Original Equipment Manufacturers such as DELL, HP, etc., use their own names. This does not say, you own the system. You’re now in control!
- GamerTCP allows you to tweak and fine-tune Windows for a better experience in gaming, transferring files through the Local Area Network (LAN) and more.
- Zanphar’s Windows Tweaker does similar to GamerTCP, except it’s much more powerful and provides many more options. This tool is for advanced users and not so much for novices.
- The Advanced Windows Disk Cleanup Utility (AWDC) is extremely powerful and for advanced users; although the default values should be fine for novices, this can put your system in a state that could be complex to recover from. Trust me, I’ve done it and I developed this!
